A world reimagined
This anthology contains three impeccable steampunk stories. Ranging from the gritty tale of battling a creature who steals the souls of others, to dabbling in the taboo art of imbuing a human soul into an automaton, and even a man venturing back home only to discover he's been demonized.
The Soulless Ones by C. Vonzale Lewis
The Rogue of Vangard by Nicholas J. Evans
Gossamer & Thorns by Elle Beaumont
For those who love adventure in new worlds, gritty stories, and heart-wrenching tales, this collection is sure to resonate with you!
Shakespeare Retelling Anthology
Submission Deadline: February 1st 2022
Publication Date: June 2022
When it comes to wit William Shakespeare was a master! His plays have been retold many times over, but what happens when even more fantastical and whimsical elements are added?
Twelfth Night with a fae spin? Hamlet with vampires? Werewolves running amok in The Tempest?
Dive into the stories we all know and put your own creative spin on them with some form of fantasy (no science fiction please). Each story can include romance, horror, gender-bending, or whimsy. Must be New Adult-Adult audience, and no previously published pieces.
Each submission must contain the key elements to the story they are retelling.
Eg. Beatrice and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing must quarrel, it doesn’t matter the reasoning (go ahead and create that backstory!) and Hero must have a falling out with Claudio. (Do they get back together, does she truly die?)
We are looking for 10-14 amazing short stories/novellas between 5-15k.
The submission fee will be 50$. This will cover the production costs and also marketing for the anthology.
Submission deadline: February 1st, 2022
Please ensure all of your submissions are professionally edited upon submission.
Emporium of Superstition
An Old Wive’s Tale Anthology
Publication Date: October 19th, 2022
Submissions are closed for this anthology.
All stories submitted must be Young Adult, New Adult or Adult. Please pay attention to each anthology listing, as it will have age requirements per anthology listed.
All manuscripts must be polished and edited when you submit it. Typos are one thing, but plot holes, grammatical errors, and overall issues will be rejected. If for some reason you're in need of developmental help, please shoot us another e-mail and we'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction for some amazing editors.
We do love romance, dark twists, and even some love scenes, but please absolutely no erotica.
All authors who are accepted into the anthology must agree to pay 50$. This fee goes toward the cover and any/all marketing that goes into production.
Deadlines are final. If you don't meet the deadline you won't be allowed in. There will be no reimbursements, either.
Submissions are open to debut authors and established authors.
Submissions must not have been previously published, including Wattpad, Radish, personal sites or blog.
Stories will be exclusive to the anthology for three months.
Keep in mind, your stories will remain inside the anthology indefinitely, and distributed wide, meaning they cannot ever be in Kindle Unlimited.
