What if gods and myths walked among us now? What if they simply blended in with society as we know it and meddle with the affairs of mortals to this day? That is our theme: bringing these gods, goddesses, and myths to modern times.
Everyone knows the original stories of Greek Mythology [or maybe not!] What happens when their love is forgotten and crumbles to dust? What happens when they fall for a modern-day mortal, or what if a war broke out now because of a jealous god's wrath?
We want stories that highlight what these gods or goddesses may be doing in modern times.
We will be accepting tales including gods, goddesses, mortals of myth, and mythological creatures. Each story must have a heavy presence of a god/goddess in it.
Only original and unpublished pieces will be accepted in this collection of stories. Meaning, no wattpad, radish, blog posts, etc.
Only ONE submission per anthology is allowed. Please don't send us 3 submissions for the same anthology.
We would love to see a diverse collection of stories, so think outside the box!
10 stories will be selected for this collection, but perhaps more if the word count remains on the smaller end with each story.
The audience for this anthology is 18+ keep that in mind.
All manuscripts must be polished and edited when you submit it. Typos are one thing, but plot holes, grammatical errors, and overall issues will be rejected. If you're in need of developmental help, please shoot us another e-mail and we'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction for some amazing editors.
We do love romance, dark twists, and even some love scenes, but please absolutely no erotica.
Deadlines are final. If you don't meet the deadline, you won't be allowed in. There will be no reimbursements, either.
Submissions are open to debut authors and established authors.
Your story will remain exclusive to the anthology for 3 months
Keep in mind, your stories will remain inside the anthology indefinitely, and distributed wide, meaning they cannot ever be in Kindle Unlimited.
What We Provide
Covers, Formatting, Marketing, and ARC distribution.
Proofreading. MTP has an amazing team who will read through the entire anthology.
Release Day Broadcasts. Each release day we'll host a virtual party, celebrating all of our authors and their stories. It isn't mandatory to join, but it is fun!
Promotional graphics for teasers, cover reveals, and release day.
