Kristin Jacques is speculative fiction author and content creator from New England. She holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from Wells College. Her award-winning dark fantasy Marrow Charm was released from Parliament House Press in October 2019. In November 2019, Marrow Charm won the Fantasy Fiction category at American Bookfest. In 2020, she signed a four-book deal with City Owl Press for the paranormal series Midnight Guardians.
When not writing, she is juggling two rambunctious boys, spoiling her cats, and catching up on a massive TBR pile. She is currently working on projects full of magic, mystery, and delight.

Her love of reading blossomed the summer after graduating high school, when she borrowed a paperback romance from her mother during the annual family beach vacation.
From that sunny day forward, she has been a lover of stories with Happily-Ever-Afters. In early 2008, she wrote her first novel, The Mirrors at Barnard Hall. But it was not until she moved to Nashville, TN and met her mentor, Billy Block, that she was encouraged to self-publish the work in 2012.

Gianne has been interested in making her own stories with illustrations since her mother gave her little scrapbooks to fill in when she was in Gradeschool. She has never stopped writing and creating since. She is also a lover of all things superhero, from the compelling origins to the dramatic and tragic love between fellow caped crusaders. There are enough Batman-themed items on her bookshelf, but admittedly Robin and Batgirl have her heart. Her favorite book genres are Fantasy and Romcom and everything in between. Yet growing up with dyslexia, she had a love/hate relationship with books. She loved the covers and the idea of escaping into them. Learning to read didn’t come easy. A lot of her classmates bullied her. Nevertheless, she wanted it enough and eventually became a proud bookworm.
